Ruling concerning candidature and advertisement

If a candidate has died and another person has put his or her own candidature forward in lieu of the former as per authorisation and in compliance with the conditions of Article 37, the relevant senior electoral commission and the Ministry of Justice must be notified immediately. The National Electoral Commission shall publish the list thus changed in the Government Gazette and in newspapers, cf. paragraph 2 of Article 44. At the same time the National Electoral Commission shall be published in the State Broadcasting Service (the radio) an advertisement on the change made.
