Allocation of parliamentary seats

Candidates who receive a adjustment seat are considered members of Althing for the constituency where they are on the electoral list and in the order in which seats are allocated according to Article 108.

A list in a constituency, which has had a member or members of Althing elected according to Articles 107 and 108, is entitled to an equal number of deputy members of Althing.
