Issue of election certificates


In the event of a dispute between the agents of the political organisations that participated in the Althing elections and the National Electoral Commission concerning a ruling that has been delivered, the agents of the political organisations have the right to have their dissenting view recorded in the minutes of the National Electoral Commission. The National Electoral Commission shall submit a transcript of its record of minutes to the Ministry of Justice regarding the allocation of parliamentary seats as well as the reports and documents from the senior electoral commissions that may be disputed, and the Ministry of Justice shall then present to the Althing at the commencement of its legislative session the copy as it was received.
