First, the number of founders that need to attend the founding congress has been reduced from 200 to 100 in Articles 7.2 and 8.2 of the draft law. Further, based on Article 9.2, at the moment of state registration, a political party must have at least 1000 members instead of the 2000 that are currently required. At the same time, the time period for registration has been reduced from 6 to 3 months (Article 9.5).
