The remaining delimitation should be undertaken and finalised in conformity with a CEC ordinance, according to the law, no later than 1 June 2016. The CEC further noted during the expert visit that District Election Commissions would then have until 1 July to verify and finalise constituency boundaries under their respective control. While it is recommended to undertake any redistricting well in advance of an election, the delimitation process would only be completed a few months before the expected elections in October 2016.
