Paragraph 29

For presidential candidates, the ballot contains information on the current place of employment of the candidate, among other information (Article 48.2 of the Electoral Code). For some candidates, the number of places of employment may be more than for others. It may lead to a situation where some candidates receive more visibility on the ballot. There is no legitimate reason to include such information, as the dissemination of candidate information should be done earlier than on election day and not through the ballot. The Venice Commission and the OSCE/ODIHR recommend considering limiting the information on the ballot to only include necessary information such as the name of the candidate, number of the candidate, and their political affiliation, if any.
