Subject to the provisions of the next following article, a person shall be entitled to be registered as a voter for the election of Members of the House if, and shall not be entitled to be registered unless, he has the qualifications required by article 57 of the Constitution and provided he is not so disqualified in terms of article 58 of the Constitution or in accordance with the provisionsof this Act.
