The Member of Parliament concerned has the right to orally defend him/her-self before the preparatory committee, the Joint Committee and before the Plenary of the National Assembly or he/she can decide that another Member of Parliament should defend him/her before the commissions and the Plenary. The last oral intervention before the Plenary belongs to the defence (the deputy concerned).
