Even assuming that the procedure for lifting the immunity could not be simplified, a complete removal of the guarantees for the deputies concerned was not warranted. At the very least, by way of the same constitutional amendment an appeal to the Constitutional Court against prosecution could easily have been maintained. The workload of the National Assembly cannot justify removing the appeal to the Constitutional Court.
