(1) By ID document, within the meaning of this law, for the Romanian citizens, we understand the ID card, electronic ID card, temporary ID card, ID paper, or diplomatic passport, diplomatic electronic passport, service passport, service electronic passport, and in the case of students of military schools, the military service book, valid on the day of the voting.
(2) Citizens of the European Union may exercise their voting right based on any valid document attesting their identity.
