(1) The registration, in the Electoral Register, of the Romanian citizens having turned or turning 18 years old until the elections’ day inclusively, is done, ex officio, by the Permanent Electoral Authority, based on the communication by the Directorate for Persons Record and Databases Management.

(2) After obtaining Romanian citizenship, people having turned 18 years old are registered in the Electoral Register, ex offi cio, by the Permanent Electoral Authority, based on the communication by the Directorate for Persons Record and Databases Management.
