Article 98.2 relating to the deadline to form a coalition for the second round has also been amended. It now provides that by 18:00 on the fifth day (and not on the second day as in the draft electoral code) following the adoption of the corresponding CEC decision on holding a second round of elections, any political party (or alliance) which passed the electoral threshold, may form a new coalition with other political parties (or alliances) that passed the threshold, provided that they come to an agreement on their candidate for the Prime Minister.
