Article 69
 

To be a senator, one must:


1 ° to be Belgian;


2 ° enjoy civil and political rights;


3 ° be eighteen years old;


4 ° be domiciled in Belgium.


Transitional provision


This article comes into force on election day for the full renewal of the Community and Regional Parliaments in 2014. To date, the following provisions apply:


"To be elected or appointed senator, you must:


1 ° to be Belgian;


2 ° enjoy civil and political rights;


3 ° be twenty-one years old;


4 ° be domiciled in Belgium. ".
