Article 182

The Chairman of the Supreme Board of Elections determine the daily fees which will be paid to chairmen and members of election boards, and to other persons employed for the elections, and to the civil servants, and to other employees who work overtime for the elections, to political party representatives and to other people employed, provided that the daily fee does not exceed the amount which is found by multiplying 600 (six hundred) by civil servants’ monthly pay coefficient. (Annex sentence by Article 13 of Law 5749 on 13 March 2008) The Council of Ministers shall be entitled to increase this amount up to four fold by resorting to the opinion of the Supreme Board of Elections. (1) No tax is imposed on those fees. Supreme Board of Election may decide to pay up to four times daily fee to those who work abroad.


The transportation expenses for those who are sent to places other than their residence, is provided according to the Law on Travel Expenses of Civil Servants
