As for the Assembly, Article 65(2) of the Albanian Constitution provides that “Elections for the new Assembly are held in the nearest electoral period that precedes the date of the ending of the mandate of the Assembly. Electoral periods and the rules for holding the elections for the Assembly are determined by the law on elections”.
