Costs for the conduct of elections shall be covered from the budget of the Republic of Slovenia.

It is considered that the funds for the conduct of elections in terms of laws governing public finance and procurement, guaranteed by the date specified by tendering elections fixed as the date from which time begins to run for election activities.

Contracts necessary for the conduct of elections, when regular elections can begin before the day of calling the elections.

If, due to the deadlines required by the conduct of elections, it is not possible to comply with the deadlines set by the law governing public contracts, the contract is awarded under a negotiated procedure without prior publication.
