Article 17
 

If a Member ceases, unless he resigned within six months of the approval of the mandate, it becomes for the remainder of the mandate period of the candidate from the same list of candidates who would have been elected if it had not been elected deputy whose mandate has expired.


If the mandate of a deputy national community becomes a member of the remainder of the period by the candidate from a list of candidates who would have been elected if it had not been elected deputy whose mandate has expired.


If a candidate from the first or second paragraph of this Article within eight days does not notice that he accepts the mandate, this right shall be transferred to the next candidate.


The National Electoral Commission by the decision of determining which candidate from the first or second paragraph of this Article shall remain in office for the remaining term of the National Assembly or any candidate in the second paragraph of Article 14 of the Deputies Act (Official Gazette of RS, no. 112/05 - official consolidated text , 109/08, 39/11 and 48/12) shall remain in office for the time acting as deputy Prime Minister, Minister or Secretary of State, and inform the national Assembly.
