(1) Any person who is entitled to vote at Folketing elections under section 1, cf. section 2, shall be eligible for membership of the Folketing, unless he or she has been convicted of an act which in the eyes of the public makes him or her unworthy of being a Member of the Folketing, cf. sections 30 and 33 of the Act of the Constitution.
(2) A person can nevertheless always stand as candidate in an election regardless of objections in respect of non-eligibility.
