Paragraph 31

In Croatia, (apart from the county prefect) the municipal prefect, mayor, as well as their deputy who has been elected jointly with them, may be recalled through a popular vote, which may be proposed by 20% of the total number of local voters or 2/3 members of the local representative body. At the same time, the legislation expressly states that members of local representative bodies (also elected by the local population) may not be recalled.
