In Turkey, the Law on Basic Provisions on Elections and Voter Registers prohibits in Articles 63-65 the misuse of administrative resources during electoral campaigns by public authorities. In practice, following the 2011 parliamentary elections, the misuse of administrative resources was not brought to the attention of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission.
