Only four analysed legislations refer to temporary circumstances where public officials cannot campaign while in office or only during their work-day, i.e. the legislations of Albania (para. 43), Armenia (para. 55), the Kyrgyz Republic (para. 72-73) and Ukraine (para. 41).
