In Hungary, Hungarian citizens residing abroad now have the opportunity to vote from abroad in the parliamentary elections, following the amendment of the Constitution last year. The right to remote voting, however, may only be exercised in a supervised environment, i.e. in the premises of Hungarian embassies under the supervision of “vote counting committees” of three individuals each.
