Paragraph 45

In Ireland, remote voting is admitted at all statutory polls but is confined to persons who would have difficulties voting in polling stations (members of the Defence Forces, of the police, diplomats posted abroad and their spouses, persons with a physical illness/disability, persons hindered to go to the polling stations for professional reasons, students registered at their home address but living elsewhere, persons employed as polling station staff).
