This is the case in the following states: Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Iceland, Italy, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine. The principle of the right to vote from abroad of citizens who are permanently resident abroad or temporarily out of the country is therefore recognised in a broad majority of the states considered. In Morocco it applies only to referendums.
