On 21 October 2020, in accordance with Articles 38 and 63 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic" (CDL-REF(2020)077), the CEC decided to call repeat elections and set the election date at 20 December 2020.
