A substantial respect of the democratic will and therefore of the basic democratic principles would suggest postponing all constitutional changes and to defer them to the new Parliament. In the meanwhile, the incumbent Parliament should refrain from approving any amendment to the constitution during the interval between the end of the legal mandate and the first session of the new Parliament.
