Banning Parties and Coalitions from Nominating Candidates

(amend. - SG 79/15, in force from 01.11.2015) Servicemen in the armed forces, officers in the Diplomatic Service, officers with the Ministry of Interior, the State Intelligence Agency, National Security Service and State Agency Technical Operations, civil servants from State Agency for National Security, judges, prosecutors and investigators, as well as other persons, whose membership in political parties is prohibited by law, shall not be nominated or registered as candidates on behalf of political parties or coalitions. Such citizens can participate in elections as independent candidates.
