Conducting the voting on election day 

The voting on election day is conducted simultaneously in all municipalities and voting districts. An eligible voter is only allowed to vote in the voting district entered in the voting register next to his or her name.

The election boards are responsible for organising the voting in each voting district.

The central municipal election board shall inform the voters of the election day and of the polling stations in the voting districts in the manner in which municipal notices are normally made available.
