Nomination of candidates and the maximum number of candidates in the electoral district of Åland 


In the electoral district of Åland, a constituency association, founded for the next parliamentary elections by at least 30 eligible voters in the electoral district, has the right to nominate a candidate in parliamentary elections. Two or more constituency associations have the right to form a joint list. There may be a maximum of four candidates on the joint list.


In other respects, the provisions of this Act apply, as appropriate, to the establishment of a constituency association, candidate applications made by a constituency association, forming and notifying of a joint list, and the duties of the authorities related to the nomination of candidates in the electoral district of Åland.
