Paragraph 42

In the Czech Republic, the voters may cast four preference votes for candidates on their chosen party list. Candidates receiving at least 5% of the total number of votes cast for their party have priority in the allocation of seats, regardless of their position on the list. Regarding the seat allocation, all such candidates shall be given priority over the other candidates and the order of such candidates shall be determined by the actual amount of preference votes acquired by each of them.
