Examining more in detail the different ways to ensure the reliability of the electoral registers would go beyond the scope of the present report. It is however useful to mention such measures as the continuous updating and revision of electoral registers; partnerships with civil registry authorities to ensure the integrity of the electoral list; and the obligation to periodically declare one’s place of residence to the government.
