The law, federate law or rule referred to in Article 134 that regulates the elections for the House of Representatives or a Community or Regional Par-liament, and that is promulgated less than one year before the date on which the legislative term is to come to an end, comes into force no sooner than one year after it has been promulgated.

Transitional provision

This article comes into force on the day when the first elections for the European Parliament take place after it has been published in the Belgian Official Gazette.
