The majority of states that replied to the questionnaire regulate access to the public media during the referendum campaign. Quite often, equal air time is given to the supporters and opponents of the draft proposal (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Lithuania, Sweden, Switzerland, “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
