Section 33 of the Act on Electoral Procedure, as revised by Section 14 of the Act, provides for the termination of the mandates of members of election commissions. However, the amendments repeal but do not replace the reference to the time of termination of the mandate of the appointed (partisan-delegated) members on the lowest-level (polling) commissions, thereby leaving a gap. The Venice Commission and ODIHR recommend addressing this issue.
