(1) For general elections, the calendar dates for the time limits referred to in this Act shall be determined by the Minister by means of a decree, and for by-elections, they shall be determined by the election commission that set the election date by means of a resolution.
(2) If a time limit referred to in this Act is to expire on a public holiday, the Minister or the election commission that set the election date may set the calendar date for the expiry of the time limit on the working day before or after that day by means of a decree or decision, respectively.
