(1) Recommendations shall be verified within three days from the notification of the candidate.

(2) Once it is established that the number of valid recommendations has reached the limit required for being a candidate, the detailed verification of recommendations may be discontinued.

(3) The election office shall inform the election commission competent to register the candidate concerned and, if he so requests, also the candidate, of the result of the verification of recommendations.
