Election Campaign Supervisory Committee
Within the conduct of elections, general oversight over the actions of political parties, submitters of proclaimed electoral lists, MP candidates and public service media pertaining to electoral activities, shall be performed by the election campaign Supervisory Committee (hereinafter: the Supervisory Committee). The Supervisory Committee shall have ten members, appointed by the National Assembly, among whom one half at the proposal of the Government, and one half at the proposal of National Assembly parliamentary groups from among prominent public servants. Members of the Supervisory Committee may not be members of political parties’ bodies. The chairperson of the Supervisory Committee shall be elected from among the members of the Supervisory Committee by secret ballot.
