Article 20
 

(1)   Until Annex 7 of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been fully implemented, the allocation of seats by constituent people normally regulated by Chapter 10, Subchapter B of this law shall be done in accordance with this Article.


(2)   Until a new census is organized, the 1991 census shall serve as a basis so that each Canton will elect the following number of delegates:


a)       from the Legislature of Canton number 1, Una-Sana Canton, five delegates, including two Bosniaks, one Croat and two Serbs shall be elected.


b)      from the Legislature of Canton number 2, Posavina Canton, three delegates, including one Bosniak, one Croat and one Serb shall be elected.


c)       from the Legislature of Canton number 3, Tuzla Canton, eight delegates, including three Bosniaks, one Croat, two Serbs and two Others shall be elected.


d)      from the Legislature of Canton number 4, Zenica-Doboj Canton, eight delegates, including three Bosniaks, two Croats, two Serbs and one Other shall be elected.


e)       from the Legislature of Canton number 5, Bosnian-Podrinje Canton – Goražde, three delegates, including one Bosniak, one Croat and one Serb shall be elected.


f)       from the Legislature of Canton number 6, Central Bosnia Canton, six delegates, including one Bosniak, three Croats, one Serb and one Other shall be elected.


g)      from the Legislature of Canton number 7, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, six delegates, including one Bosniak, three Croats, one Serb and one Other shall be elected.


h)      from the Legislature of Canton number 8, West Herzegovina Canton, four delegates, including one Bosniak, two Croats and one Serb shall be elected.


i)        from the Legislature of Canton number 9, Canton Sarajevo, eleven delegates, including three Bosniaks, one Croat, five Serbs and two Others shall be elected.


j)        from the Legislature of Canton number 10, Canton 10, four delegates, including one Bosniak, two Croats and one Serb shall be elected.


 


* Provisions of Article 20.16A, paragraph (2) points a to j of the BiH Election Law have been terminated on 29.07.2017 by the Decision of the BiH Constitutional Court published in the BiH Official Gazette 54/17 from 28.07.2017.
