Article 3 LLE confers the right to vote and to stand as a candidate to “every adult citizen of the Republic of Serbia’’. Article 52 of the Constitution states that “Every citizen of age and working ability of the Republic of Serbia shall have the right to vote and be elected’ without providing for any exceptions for local elections.
