In the event of dissolution of the Parliament of Montenegro (hereinafter referred to as Parliament) or passing of the decision on shortening of the mandate, the President of Montenegro shall call for the elections on the day following the day of dissolution, that is, the day following the day the decision of shortening of mandate came into force.

In the case of termination of the term of office of the Municipal Assembly, the Assembly of the Royal Capital or the Assembly of the Capital City before the expiration of period for which it has been elected for, the President of Montenegro shall call for the elections on the day following the day of dissolution, that is, the day following the day the decision of shortening of mandate came into force.

The provisions of Article 14 paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of this law shall be applied in the cases referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article.
