Permanent composition of the Municipal Election Commission (hereinafter referred to as MEC) shall be appointed by Municipal Assembly, at proposal of the working body of the Municipal Assembly responsible for election and appointments, out of candidates proposed by political parties, coalitions or groups of citizens, which have councillors in the Municipal Assembly.

Decision on appointment of MEC shall be published in the “Official Gazette of Montenegro – municipal regulation”.
