The Venice Commission and ODIHR have commented on this provision, expressing concern that the cancellation of the registration limits the right to be elected and may not align with international standards. The definition of the violation in Article 19, part 8 is too vague and should be made more specific; determining if a violation of the law affects ongoing elections and the results can be challenging.42
