REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA - Joint Follow-up Opinion to the Joint Opinion on Amendments to the Electoral Code and other Related Laws Concerning Ineligibility of Persons Connected to Political Parties Declared Unconstitutional
When addressing stability of electoral law, the Code does not explicitly refer to the right to vote and to be elected. The purpose of the present Joint Follow-Up Opinion is not to take a general stance on whether this principle should apply to other aspects of electoral law than those expressly mentioned in the Code.
