Art. 249. (1) (Amend. and suppl. - SG 36/21, in force from the date of official publication of the results of the 2021 census) For the conduct of the elections, 32 multi-member regions are formed, including three in Sofia-city district, two in Plovdiv district and one multi-member region outside the country. The rest of the regions shall correspond to the administrative regions in the country.

(2) The names, boundaries and numbering of the election regions shall be determined by the President of the Republic not later than 56 days in advance of election day.
