The Electoral Officer shall announce when polling hours (Section 47) are over. Thereafter only such voters as have appeared before the end of polling hours and are inside the polling station or in front of it due to lack of space shall be permitted to cast their votes. People who appear after the end of polling hours shall not be granted access to voting. When the voters who appeared before the end of polling hours have cast their votes, the Electoral Officer shall declare the poll closed.
