(1)      With regard to the personal data contained in the voters' register and notwithstanding Section 1 subsection (8) of the Federal Data Protection Act in conjunction with Article 15 paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal L 119 of 4 May 2016, p. 1; L 314 of 22 November 2016, p. 72; L 127 of  23 May 2018, p. 2), the right of access and the right to receive a copy are ultimately ensured by the right to inspect the voters' register and the right to make copies of parts of the voters' register subject to the conditions laid down in Section 17 subsection (1) of the Federal Elections Act in conjunction with Section 21

 
(2)                With regard to the personal data contained in the voters' register and notwithstanding Section 1 subsection (8) of the Federal Data Protection Act in conjunction with Articles 16 and 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the right to rectification and the right to restriction of processing are ultimately ensured by the rights of objection guaranteed subject to the conditions laid down in Section 17 subsection (1) of the Federal Elections Act in conjunction with Section 16 subsection (8) and of Section 17 subsection (1) of the Federal Elections Act in conjunction with Section 22.

 
(3)     With regard to the personal data contained in the nominations and notwithstanding Section 1 subsection (8) of the Federal Data Protection Act in conjunction with Article 16 and Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the right to rectification and the right to restriction of processing are ultimately ensured, from the deadline for submitting nominations to the end of election day, by the procedures for rectifying faults subject to the conditions laid down in Section 25 of the Federal Elections Act and of Section 27 subsection (5) of the Federal Elections Act in conjunction with Section 25 of the Federal Elections Act.

 
(4)     With regard to the personal data processed for the purpose of keeping a voters' register and for issuing a polling card and notwithstanding Section § 1 subsection (8) of the Federal Data Protection Act in conjunction with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the data subject shall ultimately be informed by way of announcement in accordance with Sections 14, 17, 36 of the Federal Elections Act in conjunction with Section 20.
