A political party nominates candidates according to the procedure established by its rules. The list of candidates is determined by secret ballot.
A political party can submit a list of candidates in each electoral unit if its list of candidates is supported by the signatures of at least three members of the National Assembly. Signatures of deputies on prescribed forms are submitted to the state and election commission.
A political party may submit a list of candidates in an individual electoral unit if the list of candidates is determined by members of the political party who have the right to vote and permanent residence in the electoral unit, and if the list of candidates is supported by the signatures of at least fifty voters who have permanent residence in the electoral unit.
A political party may submit a list of candidates in an individual electoral unit even if the list of candidates is not determined in the manner referred to in the previous paragraph, provided that the list of candidates is supported by the signatures of at least one hundred voters who have permanent residence in the electoral unit.
Two or more political parties may submit a joint candidate list.
No gender may be represented on the list of candidates by less than 35% of the total actual number of candidates on the list.
The provision of the previous paragraph does not apply to candidate lists on which three male or female candidates are placed, and at least one representative of each gender must be on the candidate list on which three male or female candidates are placed.
