Article 47
 

The voter gives his support by signing the prescribed form. The form is signed in person in front of the competent authority that keeps the record of the right to vote, regardless of the place of permanent residence.


The authorities from the previous paragraph keep a special record of approved forms. This record is an official secret and only the competent electoral commission or court has the right to inspect it. If support is given in the manner referred to in the previous paragraph, the proposer of the list of candidates must ensure that the support is entered in the record of approved forms before submitting it.


The Member of Parliament gives his support by signing the prescribed form issued by the competent service of the National Assembly.


Persons who are in hospitals, homes for the elderly, institutions for the disabled and similar institutions, and persons serving a prison sentence during the deadline set for the submission of candidate lists, can express their support by confirming their signature on the form separately authorized person of the authority or legal entity for this purpose.


Persons who live abroad permanently or temporarily during the deadline for collecting signatures can express their support by having their signature on the form confirmed by an official of the diplomatic-consular representation of the Republic of Slovenia abroad or by a person designated by the Ministry to confirm the identity of voters. responsible for foreign affairs.


Persons who have a registered permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Slovenia, but due to illness or disability cannot appear before the competent authority in person and are not located in the institutions referred to in the fourth paragraph of this article, may give their support to a candidate or a list of candidates in front of an official of the competent authority, who visits such a person at home no later than six days before the deadline for submission of candidate lists.


The request for the issuance of the form referred to in the fourth and fifth paragraphs of this article and the request for the visit of an official person referred to in the sixth paragraph of this article may be submitted no later than fifteen days before the deadline for the submission of candidate lists.
