Vote by the members To nominate candidates, a party must perform a secret vote by the members based on equal voting rights, in which the individual members of the party and its local organisation residing in the electoral district are entitled to participate. A vote by members is not, however, obligatory, if only so many candidates are nominated in the election as the party has the right to nominate as candidates in the electoral district.
