Replacement of Local Council Members Whose Office was Terminated Early

1. In the case of early termination of office of members of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, an oblast, rayon, rayon in the city, or city, village, settlement council (a territorial community with 10,000 or more voters) on the grounds and in the manner prescribed by the Constitution and the Laws of Ukraine, the election commission of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, oblast, rayon, rayon in the city, city, village, settlement election commission shall recognize such candidate elected as a council member who is placed next on the list in the respective territorial or unified electoral list of candidates from this party organization pursuant to the procedure provided for by Part five of Article 283 of this Code.

2. Registration of a person specified in part one of this article as a member of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, an oblast, rayon, rayon in the city, or city, village, settlement council (a territorial community with 10,000 or more voters) shall be carried out by the relevant territorial election commission in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 283 of this Code.
